Find Your Thing And Do That Thing...

"Find your thing and do that thing better than anybody else does that thing even if you think that thing has no value because I promise you that it does. And I promise you that other people will see this value too."

Be Strong & Courageous!

Rak Chazak Amats is an ancient Hebrew war cry used before going into battle. Joshua chapter one is a perfect example when God commanded Joshua to be “strong and courageous” and go into the land God had promised His people. Joshua 1:9 NIV speaks boldly: “Have I not commanded you? Be strong and courageous. Do not be afraid; do not be discouraged, for the Lord your God will be with you wherever you go.”

Rak Chazak Amats means “strong and courageous.” It is being tenacious and zealous in heart. We can face the enemy without shrinking back and cowering. No matter what our struggle, we do not have to face it alone! God wants the very essence of our souls to trust Him in every situation. Rak Chazak Amats is moving forward with a spiritual boldness and an audacity that only comes from the Holy Spirit.

Jehoiachin Released

Jeremiah 52:31-34
New International Version (NIV)

31 In the thirty-seventh year of the exile of Jehoiachin king of Judah, in the year Awel-Marduk became king of Babylon, on the twenty-fifth day of the twelfth month, he released Jehoiachin king of Judah and freed him from prison. 32 He spoke kindly to him and gave him a seat of honor higher than those of the other kings who were with him in Babylon. 33 So Jehoiachin put aside his prison clothes and for the rest of his life ate regularly at the king’s table. 34 Day by day the king of Babylon gave Jehoiachin a regular allowance as long as he lived, till the day of his death.

When God Wants To Drill A Man

When God wants to drill a man,
And thrill a man,
And skill a man
When God wants to mold a man
To play the noblest part;
When He yearns with all His heart
To create so great and bold a man
That all the world shall be amazed,
Watch His methods, watch His ways!
How He ruthlessly perfects
Whom He royally elects!
How He hammers him and hurts him,
And with mighty blows converts him
Into trial shapes of clay which
Only God understands;
While his tortured heart is crying
And he lifts beseeching hands!
How He bends but never breaks
When his good He undertakes;
How He uses whom He chooses,
And which every purpose fuses him;
By every act induces him
To try His splendor out-
God knows what He’s about.

#AllGloryToHim☝

"But whatever I am now, it is all because God poured out His special favor on me—and not without results. For I have worked harder than any of the other apostles; yet it was not I but God who was working through me by His grace." (1 Corinthians 15:10, NLT)

“Write down the revelation and make it plain on tablets so that a herald may run with it. For the revelation awaits an appointed time; it speaks of the end and will not prove false. Though it linger, wait for it; it will certainly come and will not delay." (Habakkuk 2:2-3 NIV)

"One thing I know is that God is a God of increase. He has greater things in store for your future than you have experienced in your past. His dream for your future is so much bigger than your own. He wants to take you places that you’ve never dreamed and open up doors that you’ve never imagined. He wants to bring talent out of you that you didn’t even know you had. He wants to increase you and cause you to be a greater blessing to the people around you." ~Joel Osteen

An Engineer's Life Journey

"My life may not be going the way I planned it, but it is going EXACTLY the way GOD planned it." ~Author Unknown

Hello Guys, I am Mark Neil C. Panchito, a Registered Mechanical Engineer by Profession. I just want to share to you my life's story.

I grew up in a military family in 4th Infantry Division (4ID) Camp Evangelista, a military camp located in Cagayan De Oro City. My Father was a retired military. My Mother was a businesswoman. They operated a small sari-sari store inside the military camp. I have 3 siblings, a sister and two brothers. I am the second of four siblings. My Grandfather was a retired military officer, a scout ranger alumni. My uncle was a highly trained Army Scout Ranger and Special Forces operator, specialized in demolition. He retired from his military profession as well. I have 2 cousins, a Lieutenant Colonel (Army Scout Ranger Officer) and a Major (Combat Helicopter Pilot) who were both graduates of the Philippine Military Academy. Growing up inside a military camp influenced me to join the military profession someday. When I was in high school, I want to become a cadet of the Philippine Military Academy. Because PMA Cadets are future leaders in the Armed Forces of the Philippines (AFP). Almost key positions in the AFP, PNP, and other Government sectors were occupied/handled by a PMA Alumni. They were the cream-of-the-crop, best-of-the-best.

I took up Mechanical Engineering at Xavier University in preparation of my PMA Cadetship. Someone told me that taking up an engineering course was the best way in order to survive the rigid life of being a PMA Cadet. When I was a freshman at Xavier University, I joined the Reserve Officer Training Corps (ROTC) as a Cadet Officer. During this time, I was trained to become an officer and a gentleman. It also boosted my self-confidence in handling difficult task especially handling cadets who were older than me. ROTC taught me a lot physically, mentally and professionally.

It was during 2004, that I prepared myself for the Philippine Military Academy Entrance Examination (PMAEE). I only took 9 units for the first semester of 2004 and I stopped schooling on the second semester because I don't have any plans to continue my engineering studies. I was one of the 483 successful examinees from almost 20,000 applicants in the PMA. It was a dream come true for me to passed the prestigious PMAEE last September 2004. I owe it all to God, it's all because of Him. I spent the whole week at V-Luna Medical Center, Quezon City for my complete Physical, Medical, and Neuro-psychological exam as part of the selection process to composed the PMA Class of 2009. To make the story short, My dream of becoming a PMA Cadet was never realized because my mom won't allow me to continue my PMA Cadetship. It was one of the lowest point of my life but life goes on. Get'cha head on the game.

I enrolled summer classes in my engineering subjects just to catch up with my classmates. I finished my Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering (BSME) at Xavier University-Ateneo De Cagayan last October 2008. The Professional Regulation Commission (PRC) has released the Mechanical Engineer board exam results as 577 out of 1,164 examinees passed the licensure exam which was given by the Board of Mechanical Engineering in Manila, Cebu and KSA. I was one of the successful examinees in April 2009 Mechanical Engineer board exam. After years of schooling and months of reviews, God finally answered all of my prayers. God is indeed a God of Miracles. I owe it all because of Him!

Last February 2013, I was given a chance to study abroad as a Foreign Student Scholar at Sungkyunkwan University (SKKU) in South Korea. I never thought that one day I would be given a Full Scholarship in one of the best university in South Korea. I know God orchestrated everything. I studied there for one and a half years. I was under the supervision of my mentor Professor Hyungpil Moon in his Robotics and Intelligent Systems Engineering Lab (RISE). It's a once in a lifetime opportunity to be part of a very competitive Robotics Engineering Research Center (RERC). I am also a member of Pinoy Iskolars sa Korea (PIKO).

Last June 2016, I decided to enroll for an MBA Program at Xavier University-Ateneo De Cagayan. I can still remember when I was still in college that I dreamed to have an MBA Degree. There are a lot of challenges as an MBA Student but because of God's mercy and grace I was able to manage my job as an Engineer and an MBA Student as well.

Hopefully in God's perfect time I will see more of His Goodness in my life. I'm planning to upgrade my license from Mechanical Engineer (ME) to Professional Mechanical Engineer (PME). And to make my dreams realized of having my own business, an MNCP Engineering and Consultancy Services in the future.

UP ON STAGE

Robots that fly ... and cooperate | Vijay Kumar

Vijay Kumar, an engineering professor at the University of Pennsylvania, showed the more than 1,300 attendees at TED conference several videos in which fleets of tiny flying robots performed a series of intricate manuevers, working together on tasks without colliding or interfering with each others' flightworthiness. It seemed that, a bridge had been crossed into a new era of technology, one that could change the way we think about robots and their application to such fields as construction, shipping and responding to emergencies.

Kumar's "Autonomous Agile Aerial Robots" coordinated on building straightforward structures and demonstrated they were capable of entering a building for the first time and rapidly developing a guide that would take into consideration evaluation and reaction to an auxiliary fall or fire.

He held up one robot, designed by his students, which measures somewhat more than a tenth of a pound and is around 8 inches in diameter. The robot has four rotors; when they turn at a similar speed, the robot drifts. In the event that you increment the speed, Kumar clarified, the robot flies up. Turning one rotor quicker than the one inverse it makes the robot tilt. It likewise can flip over various circumstances without losing its capacity to fly and can recover its stability when tossed into the air.

The robots are fit for learning directions and manueuvers that can empower them to actually fly through circles - and other confined spaces.

At the point when the robots are formed into a flotilla, they calculate (a hundred times a second) and keep up a protected separation between them. He demonstrated a video of 20 robots flying in a different formations and moving through obstacles -- inches from each other without meddling the stability of their neighbors.

For me, the oral communication of Prof. Vijay Comar was excellent. The way he demonstrated the Flying Robots was very exciting and interesting. He got my attention and helped me appreciate more about the topic Flying Robots that someday can be a big help in the community in responding disaster and emergency. These robots can also be used in the field of construction, shipping and the military as well.
